Stuart Gee

Service Manager – Switched On Group

Stuart has 20 years’ experience providing commercial and contract management support to ensure commercial interests are optimised for the business. International experience includes working on multi-million-dollar social housing, office, arts and housing regeneration projects. Within NZ he has worked on infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects and was part of the senior management team who set up the AMI/Southern Response earthquake recovery project after the September 2010 earthquake event for the re-build and repair of residential insurance claims.

Previous roles include Senior Cost Manager at Bec; Executive Quantity Surveyor at Gardiner & Theobald LLP, London; Senior Project Surveyor at Mansell PLC and George Wimpey City, London and Contracts Manager at Naylor Love.

This has enabled Stuart to build an extensive knowledge base and his proven leadership and relationship building skills have helped projects get completed within the time and budget constraints and ensure clients are fully engaged throughout the construction process.

He is a confident communicator who is resilient to pressure and can remain calm and clear minded. Stuart is a natural organizer who can multi-task whilst managing a complex and high volume of work. He is adept at analysing figures and harnessing data to maximize performance and reduce costs.

Julie McClelland

Operations & Project Team Manager - 027 444 9030

Julie commenced working in the construction industry directly from school and 40 years later, with a very variable collection of skills, she now enjoys utilising her many experiences as Project Team Manager for Switched On Facilities.

Julie is a qualified Painter and Decorator. For 8 years in the 90’s she worked for ML Paynters, a large commercial construction company and for PDL Holdings, an international electrical fitting manufacturing company, in administration including managing PDL’s vast asset register. In recent years Julie has been fully involved with the Canterbury Rebuild as a project/ operations manager for a lead contracting company with Fletchers. From January 2015 to May 2016 she joined Switched On Group as a Contract Manager on HNZC earthquake and other project work. In the last 12 months, Julie took up a new role within the Group as Project Team Manager for SOF completing consultation projects for NZ Defence Force condition rating and scoping the Burnham Military Camp housing for the NZDF Asset Management Southern Region team.

Julies role for the Department of Internal Affairs is to coordinate the planned maintenance program as initiated by the DIA and to oversee the flow of reactive maintenance as received. I will also be involved in the project management of any major quoted projects.

Kristal McGill

Switched On Health and Safety Manager

Kristal is responsible for the development, ownership and implementation of Switched On Health and Safety Management Policy and Safety Management Systems and Framework. 

Kristal is an exceptionally dependable and detail-oriented Health and Safety Specialist with a stellar record of workplace safety improvements. She is adept at professional communication with employees at all levels and is passionate about upskilling and training.  

Along with a wealth of construction and trade experience Kristal’s experience includes working in High-Risk activities associated with Port activities such as Container Shipping, Bulk Vessel Import and Export, Trucking and Logging.  As a Compliance Officer for Rooney Earthmoving she was responsible for the development and implementation of a companywide safety management system, ISO qualification retention and systematic improvements and site-specific safety plan development.
